A Mash-up of the Everly Brothers and The Beatles
music folk joe linda mary yorba java fullerton wheres
Artist picture
Acoustic covers of folk songs heavily influenced by Peter, Paul, and Mary and other groups of the 60's and 70's, like The Kingston Trio, The Limelighters, The N
Where's Mary is a trio of geezers who never had a real music career in their youth and now do this to embarass their children. The group consists of Neal Lynch on guitar and banjo, Patrick Hough on guitar, percussion, and flutes, and Mark Hermann on guitar and mandolin. All three of us sing and we like to think our voices blend pretty well. Where's Mary - - Folk Harmonies that Rock!

Story behind the song
Where's Mary likes to do medleys and mash-ups. This one was inspired while Mark was listening to Neal and his son play the Everly Bros classic. Parts of it just sounded so much like the Beatles lovely tune, he twisted the guys' arms into blending the two together. We think it works pretty well and it's becoming one of our favorites.
