Revised version 4/1/09
Just me...noodling around. All the songs but one were recorded using Sonar Producer. "Maybe We're Dreaming" was recorded with a Fostex MR8-HD stand-alone recorder. Everything is me playing and singing, except for the drums (MIDI soft synths) and the MIDI piano track on "In My Life".

Story behind the song
Keith, a regular on the alt.guitar newsgroups, wrote a version of the lyrics. I changed just a couple of things, then wrote music to accompany it and performed it.
Lyrics
With all of your hopes and your plans laid low You'd be amazed at what you didn’t know Oh its so sad to watch late bloomers grow In the warm sunshine The roots were too slow to take a firm hold And the petals that would not unfold Yes and now the weather is turning cold And you've run out of time (bridge) Yes you've run out of time alright As you shiver in the fading light Oh the frosty old fingers claw and bite And you've run out of time (instrumental break) Now I'm sitting here in the waning dusk And I'm thinking ‘bout the two of us And you were all I had to love and trust When life committed crimes Once more the day has turned into night Oh the sun has gone outta sight No and you can’t win a losing fight And you've run out of time (repeat bridge) Yes ‘n’ you’ve run out of time
