From the ashes he rises, a survivor. Don Potter has withstood a few nasty breakups from his former bands Destracore and Livid Nation. Ten years of small bars, clubs, and festivals. Don has decided to put the band thing to rest and try his first solo studio project. With nothing to lose, he will try to produce the very best metal that he is capable of. Help on its way from cutting edge producer Josh Palmer of Zombie Takeover Media, Jared Collins on Guitars and Bass(Drayton Sawyer, Deflagration) they will imminently succeed.

Story behind the song
* This song is about my old friend Scott Berry. He was the very first person I jammed with when I decided I wanted to be in bands back in good ole’ 1996. Then a few years later after jamming on and off and becoming very close Scott was killed in a car accident. I held him in the highest regard (“I put you on a pedestal”) for years only to find out from his former fiancé that he was totally talking shit behind my back before he passed. I chalk it up to the people he had been hanging out with at the time before his death. This song is my way of getting this shit off my chest. Some closure if you will.
Lyrics
Yesterdays Fool Lyrics by Don Potter, Music by Jared Collins I guess you weren’t any friend of mine I know that now but it took some time You left with out a good bye Now that your gone there is no where to hide You listened to those fools And you were dead inside Now you have left this life These rumors bleed inside You disown me I put you on a pedestal I release you now I am yesterdays fool She told me the truth I know the secrets you hold Ten years of suffering Now that ten years I have grown I declare from the flesh From beyond you listen I am sorry you are gone But I am yesterdays fool and you were wrong You disown me I put you on a pedestal I release you now I am yesterdays fool
