work in progress, looking for feedback (vocals not yet dubbed). Note: the 'wall of sound' on major parts is intentional. UPDATE: I have received good feedback on how muddy the mix was; hopefully this update is an improvement!

This is a collaborative effort designed to sell my songs (writing) and get exposure for musicians.
It's mainly me and the wonderful artists who have graciously contributed to RealTracks (www.pgmusic.com). Band in a Box and RealBand have been indispensible for me. My best friend has been a collaborator (scoring) in the past and I hope to begin working with him again soon. I am open to other collaborations as well-- hence the "band" name. Think of it as an "Alan Parsons Project" for more country, roots rock and blues oriented stuff.

Story behind the song
I was watching Divorce Court (I know, I know) and came up with the idea of a cheating song. It started off country rock, veered into new age, then gathered a bit of metal.
Lyrics
Waylaid... struck by a stranger... Drawn into danger... caught in a bind I strayed... out of your safe arms... And into the maelstorm But the fault is all mine (instrumental) Shanghied... captured by feelings... Wheeling and dealing... and losing the game Hogtied... trapped by my own lies Bothered by barflies Connected by shame (instrumental) Waylaid... struck by a stranger... Drawn into danger... caught in a bind I strayed... out of your safe arms... And into the maelstorm But the fault is all mine (instrumental; fade out)
