Alliance Community Fellowship is built on strong core values. These values guide our church body and our individual partners to a better understanding of the lives God wants us to have and to share. Celebration Our sense of community starts with our Sunday morning worship service where we celebrate what God is doing in our lives. We also share fellowship and activities outside of Sunday morning. Several of us had fun together while we were passing out balloons at the Celebrate Roanoke festival in the Fall of 2006. We have also participated in Fourth of July parades and Cabela's Fall Festival. Authenticity It says we're real. We are real people, yes, but we're also real in being serious about Kingdom work. No fluff. Nothing fancy! We are committed to ministry and missions like those we participate in at the annual Tarrant NET sponsored Hope Fests, providing medical assistance in Ghana, and assisting families that were displaced by hurricane Katrina. We foster this attitude by considering ourselves church partners rather then just members. Partnership brings a sense of involvement and ownership that may get lost in a simple membership role. Community We will build our church in the community and also impact the community through ministries large and smallfrom hosting community Easter Egg hunts to sponsoring neighborhood block parties. We are a community of faith within the community at large. And furthermore, House-to-House small groups are a smaller community within the communitya family within the church family. At the same time we build our internal family, we must also go into all the world and evangelize. Faith Faith is our commitment to doing life together in Jesus' name and trusting God with our lives. What is not in faith is sin and we take that same faith approach to running the church itself as we do with our personal lives. Our mission statement reflects these core values. We are an authentic community of faith doing life together in Jesus' name.
