The Glass Poets - lyricists / song writers We, The Glass Poets Lyricists Team are, Douglas W. White (owner/founder/lyricist/rhythm guitar) of California, Barbara Adkins (lyricist)of Florida and Michael A. Bradshaw (co - founder/lyricist,vocals,piano,drums,lead) of Alabama. Our unique story is WE HAVE NEVER MET IN PERSON. All of our material is written via emails, phone conversations. Once a solid lyrics structure is agreed upon, as all 3 of us are musicians, one of us will lay down an original acoustic guitar/piano track. We do not consider ourselves as a band but instead STORYTELLERS. Once all of the tracks are recorded Douglas and Micheal then engineer them into song format the best they can. Due to the economy and also the geographic distance between us we cannot afford studio time so we use home recording programs such as Tascam, Mixcraft, Majixs and Adobe to self produce our material. The Glass Poets Discology: 1: Spirits Of Adventure(country, country rock, western movie soundtrack theme) 2: Stories Of Today & Gone Yesterdays (country, country/pop crossover) 3: Life Is Not For Granted (inspirational, contemporary christian) 4: Garage Sale (country, country rock) 5: Move To Higher Ground (inspirational, contemporary christian) 5 original songs written and performed by Micheal - 5 songs by The Glass Poets 6: Untameable (rock, southern rock) a collaboration cd between The Glass Poets (USA) and Internal Dealin (Great Briton) Kerry Harrison & Chris Guy 7: The Warmth Of Christmas - An Indie Artists Compilation (christmas) 10 indie artists from throughout USA & Canada with 14 original, fresh, homegrown Christmas songs. Lyrics
There`s pretty eyes and laughing smiles , where teardrops use to frown Upon the face of a little boy , who`ll soon be leaving town Cause he found out the hard way , at the age of two or three His tiny legs would move no more , he was stricken with disease But he said no i won`t give up , there`s still time to clean the fish For every other child like me , I long to make a wish chorus: He`s just a little boy with a big ole dream and a hunger for a life To ride the range and move up stream with his family by his side Never knowing when thee end would come , he doesn`t even weep He just makes a wish for every one as he gently falls asleep bridge: He said I wish nobody ever had to cry And I wish that every body , had a pony to ride And I wish nobody ever had , to see what I`m going through But I`ll be OK God`s gonna make me , all brand new Now there he sits with a big ole grin , just waiting on a ride From a pony who is taking him , to the other side He climbs on and holds on tight , not knowing what to do He grabs the reins and waves goodbye , as he rides the Yonder Blue chorus: He`s just a little boy with a big ole dream and a hunger for a life To ride the range and move upstream , with his family by his side Never knowing when thee end would come , he doesn`t even weep He just makes a wish for every one , as he gently falls asleep bridge: He said I wish nobody ever had to cry And I wish that everybody , had a pony to ride And I wish nobody ever had , to see what I`m going through But I`ll be OK God`s gonna make me all brand new Then maybe I can ride my pony , the Yonder Blue Oh , I`m sure he`s out there somewhere riding The Yonder Blue.........
