The Rock Opera I promised Larry and Jen.
Rock and Roll music that bridges the gap between old and new in a way that is true to form, but breaks boundaries.
I have been described as a mix between Prince, The Beatles, and Lenny Kravits. But if you ask me, I'm not really like anything, sometimes I'm silly, sometimes I rock hard, sometimes I write love songs. I used to think I had it all figured out, I know now I was wrong. But I will say that my music excites me more than anything else in my life, so just maybe it will excite you as well.

Story behind the song
We are constantly in the midst of God and don't realize it. When we feel give and experience love and the "more" we can't describe, we're interacting with him, and breaking through the thick coating of "Not God" or sin. I call the times when we encounter him "thin places".
Lyrics
As the planets swirl, suffering runs high, The cries of indignation, cover up the fascination, And the human case, though a miracle, Is seen as unbecoming due to man's continual numbing, Through cold eyes, belief in marvels seems unwise, Though born in love, our candor soon becomes disguise, The steady rhythm life imposes on us, Turns into drags that fill the mind with disgust, And we explore, to find that more, Emotions, are soaring, but bodies stays in stasis, Small glimpses of heaven are in our children's faces, For this world, is the film, that hides the sacred spaces, And that's why, this life is, spent searching for thin places Little do we know, love is all around, It's hard see behind the thick illusion in our mind, Every now and then, the illusion bends, Revealing what's existed long before our lives were written, In those times, when mundane melts into sublime, That's our glimpse, behind the curtain there is light, And when we notice light we reawaken, Just for a moment, soon we feel mistaken, And we ignore, that shining more, And God is Everywhere, he's in our human faces, His love is what we need, and for it our heart chases, False motives, create walls, between his pure Oasis, And so we keep searching forever for thin places

Thin Places is one hell of a package. If this was my song I'd be over the moon. I believe that the way you've constructed the song it could actually have gone on longer. Now there's a crazy idea for you.

Chris, how did you manage to not send this to me dangit haha!!! This is absolutely fabulous on so many levels...I absolutely love the concept, the music, and the lyrics are near genius my friend. OUTSTANDING!!!!
Chris: On you song site you explain: "We are constantly in the midst of God and don't realize it. When we feel give and experience love and the "more" we can't describe, we're interacting with him, and breaking through the thick coating of "Not God" or sin. I call the times when we encounter him "thin places". Exquisit well thought lyrics: Chris, what I hear here is one of the best songs I ever heard on soundclick! Let me explain. I started playing guitar when flangers were a must-have. They played their role in guitar music for a decade or so, then vanished. Here´s a flanger tune. How wonderful. Guitar work, left channel, right channel, the Distorted, the Solo with wah wah. All flawless, drum, bass, synth foundation. Perfect! Tons of musical ideas, interludes, enough for 4-5 songs, some simply original, some Zappaesque. Cool. But my euphoria here is of course based on the lyrics and the way you deliver them. You are a great singer. Thin places everywhere. Great humor
