One of my almost-but-not-quite spoken word tracks, with a simple loop of some coffee-house, beat poetry background music.

Smoke, mirrors, alcohol, and darkness.
These are songs I've written from 2004 to the present day. I write, sing (or try to), and record this whole mess on my computer. One day I might put together an actual band but for now, I do what I can. I don't think there's any one style I adhere to. I go through phases, but I try to push myself and experiment as often as possible. Since these songs just HAD to be uploaded in 128 form, and since my recording equipment is primitive at best, the sound quality might not be great and some of my lyrics might not be easily made out. If by chance you want a better quality version or lyrics or whatever, just email me and I'll send it over.

Story behind the song
It's a pretty tasty acoustic riff, I think. This was a case of me writing one line...then another...then another...and so on, not knowing what I was writing or how it would end, just going until I couldn't go anymore.
