no longer will the industry tell what to listen to
they tell us that its real, but you and i know it isn't true
stuck, tryin to get rich off of gold
for their name to be in fame, it makes me sick on how they sell their souls
to go to V.M.A.'s and accept all their fake awards
its pathetic, now I get it, synpathetic round ' applause
i make my songs based on everything i feel
so when you listen it touches your soul cuz everything is real

i make music not with hopes of bringing in some cash
but to change a life, that will forever last
