This is the first whole song my best friend ever wrote. I think it is pretty damn impressive for anyone's first song. Lyrically, it is about his relationship with his father.

Story behind the song
My friend Courtney wrote this song. He is playing guitar on the track. He told me he wanted to sing it like I had gravel in my throat. Needless to say, by the time we got the recording we wanted, my voice was gone. It is also worth noting that he is playing this on a $60 acoustic guitar. I don't think it sounds cheap at all.
