dandyone [steve collins] song-writing talents spans over two decades. His ability to capture particular moments, in his life, and put them into a lyric with a melody were recognised by Simon May and many others in the industry, as far back as 1986. A prolific writer of quality songs, he recorded first album in 1980, but it was 1986 when he got first publishing deal. Since then he has had songs published both in the UK and overseas, with catalogues of instrumental material in studio libraries from Hollywood to London. Working for the last few years with the fabulous Starfish and other extreme talents within the business, spending time in the West End, and the rebuild of his production studio - this year sees the next chapter of the dandyone... So far this year 2009 Steve's work has also been selected to showcase at 'Midem' at the Palais Des Festivals, Cannes, France in January 2009, he is currently getting 'airplay' in both Russia and the US, he has featured on the album 'profile uk 09' and has just signed with 272 Records for inclusion on their latest acoustika album - release date 27th Feb.
