The impression left on me by KeyWest
beach front porch porch vacation sunset
Artist picture
Sounds like the sunset at the end of the road
I grew up on my porch listening to my uncles rock on my front porch. When I set out to learn guitar, my goal was go get good enough to jam with them. All of the sudden I was able to play with them and had to find a new goal. It has taken some time to figure out the whole song writing thing, but they are starting to come now. MyFrontPorch is anywhere that people are sharing music...front porch, back porch, camp fire, living room, Sands Amphitheater, parks, beaches, street corners...

Story behind the song
I went on a spring break down to KeyWest my senior year and saw the sunset at the end of the road.
Lyrics
At the end of the road there is a sunset It comes with a feeling I cannot forget This same event repeats every night Local or not all applaud with delight Pirates and performers throughout the street A drink and a story with everyone that we meet A party erupts in the middle of Duval I can barely see Kyle but I yell to him, good call Chorus: Went down south as I recall Thirteen girls in love with us all They didn’t know us before that week The magic of the islands ran real deep A mojito or a frothy peen in every hand Swimming through the water or laying in the island sand Hundreds at the pumps and forty at the tolls Back with minus four and a whole list of new goals Chorus While we’re out report to Capt’n jack Sometimes not safely she managed to get us all back The only one overboard was from the old navy Now he’s flip floppin’ in the locker of Davey Chorus Thirteen hundred miles til the end of the road Its called number one and inspired this code Go back often and never to forget The power that lies beneath every sunset Chorus
