Story behind the song
As I observed the way people behaved,and how things are going from day to day, I was motivated to write. There are so much going on around us every where.

I am puzzeled by an evil that I've been seen a long time And now it seems to me like a dreadful crime. There is confusion,disillusion concerning the people and the things of God. It is so sad that people love the bad The youths are not told the truth So as you look everyday,people are going astray They loose track of time,and live in delusion of their minds. What a dreadful thing,when one does not know the joy salvation brings. People in the church are suffering Because they dont know the freedom justification brings People are playing game,by using blame They are working to defeat by using deceit What a time? it seems to me like a dreadful crime. Is there any that will stand for the truth? Is there any that will train the youth? Our churches are dead; Because they become as a sleeping bed The faith we once embraced Is now from our lives erased Selfishness is the order of the day For without faith that's the only way People are comfortable on the worlds level So they sleep in the arms of the devil People say God,but that's too bad People say Christ,but they are not nice People say love,but that's not from above People say peace,but they are like brute beast The offender is always embrased While the defender is disgraced We need to open our eyes To see the evil in disguise The weakness among us is discerning For we know not for what we are yearning We discourage the good,and encourage the evil We don't stand for something So we are falling for anything I am seeing this from time to time And now it seems to me like a dreadful crime (repeat from the top).
