Rashad Gardiner (Dyce) is a young new a age wordsmith rapper . Known as one of the best freestylers and rhyme delivers in the game, Dyce is the future of rap. As business man and half member of Miscible, he is the more darker side of the duo. With the guidance of his partner D.machine and a knowledge of business, Dyce will prove to the world how talented ‘talent’ can be .He first started to rap by listening to rap records in the early 90s . After watching a Bow Wow video and The Magnificent 7, Dyce chose his future .Being fed up with the new no talent rappers being signed by major labels , Dyce decided that it was time to save the dying hip hop genre. Now in 2008, Dyce have been crowned as the number 1 artist in “Bahamian Hardcore Rap” on Soundclick.com hip hop charts and has ruled this position for almost a year . Though sometimes he might be looked at as aggressive, Dyce is not such a bad guy and like to solve problems without violence. His persuasive persona can talk his way out of almost everything and persuade a blind man to buy a painted picture. Yes you can say that he’s got a cocky-funny side; but his persuading ability helps him with most business ventures and makes him a success in the business world . Now in this new age more business than music rap world, Dyce has proven himself more than capable to accomplish any task thrown his way. Born on December 24th 1986, Dyce life was just about as average as any other average Joe. He went threw school and learnt many lessons as the days passed by. Although never faced with money challenges, Dyce never had the good life but survived the conditions which would cost most people his age to resort to violence or drugs. Being straight edge, no drinking or illegal drugs usage, he was different from most of his peers . After forming a lot of failing rap groups, Dyce had chosen to go solo. But on a faithful night of April 14th 2003 he met his best friend and rap partner, D.machine. After trying to form a crew called “D-Side” with D.machine and peers , Dyce found out that he had a lot of competition with his partner. After massive freestyle battles, both Dyce and D.machine decide to join forces brewing up on the most evilest rap duos 187 . With the crew D-Side falling apart, 187 decided to work on a mix tape . With a tape recorder and wooden shack as a studio, Dyce & D.machine as 187 recorded. 187 mix tape 1 which was the pioneer in the new breed of rap . The mix tape which was made of 31 tracks (98% being freestyle) mix tape 1 was the most foul , no care , uncensored mix tape recorded by such young individuals . After the success and break through on D.machine productions, the group recorded their first album on cd called “Dungeon Killers”. The album which was mostly freestyle just like the mix tape before it was a hit. Consisting of a don’t care attitude and stand out beats, the album was the most different and new age album which in Dyce thoughts came out before its time .The album had really proven the talent in Dyce and D.machine as well as the threat posed to the world that Dyce presented. With the success of both ventures Dyce decided to recorded his first solo album: “The Book of Dyce”, an album consisting of 19 tracks . Proven to be one of the best albums under D.machine production the album showed Dyce comic and aggressive side . Most people called his album the break through and also became a hit album which was common now in Dyce life. Being one of the best produced and greatly put together album, the hearts of many hip hop heads was captured and Dyce was cemented as the greatest hip hop artist of all time . With more maturity in mind and in music, Dyce and D.machine decided to silence their 187 group and bring a more calm and future driven ‘hip-hop god’ of group called “Miscible” .With D.machine having more artists under his production and business getting more established, Miscible had brought out a good number of songs but never formulated them to an album. Making number one platinum status songs Dyce decided to bless the world with another solo album before Miscible took over the game. With a more aggressive and two sided mind he now possessed Dyce decided to show the world his other side and alter ego “The Phantom”. It made the most remarkable album under D.machine production called: “Dyce the Phantom” . Showing the phantom the darker side and Dyce the calmer ,Dyce the Phantom touched on subjects of his personal demons and the governments failure and also his dislikes of the Police force . Catching D.machine at his best, Dyce the Phantom album was ruled the best album that was ever created by Dyce . With almost a completely solo album materiel the wordsmith really shined in the album and prove the threat the his mind possessed . Now putting Miscible to the front burner, Dyce is ready to take on the world and every rapper that has the courage to stand in his way.
