Story behind the song

A track from the archives but worth releasing for the simple pleasure it brings. This track is a deviation from the normal Phrygia MO, as it involves realtime synth, guitar and vocals all tracked at once and in one cut (after multiple attempts to get the groove). Then the processing began - a cool distorting plugin called dblue was incorporated to get that stuttered feeling in the backing drum track and was used as a crusher for vocals. The image for this track does not really promote the fugliness of Hugh Hefner, but the audacity it conjures. Make Out Mansion was brought to life in an impromptu rap by Ryan Gentry - it simply had to be kept and we savor its simplicity and outright humor. Beyond that, the lyrics at the outro are deeper in thought and meaning - par for RG and his trigger quick mindset.
