Artist picture
Single artist doing all instrument and vocal tracks myself...with the rare exception of one song.
I have not gigged in several years now, and I have just done this home-recording thing as a hobby. I guess even the "everyone is a rock star now" heyday is over. I know that I have not put enough full concentration into my passion for music. There are other things in life that drifted me away, and even troubled me. I am just a small voice in the madness. I am also one of few who sit in awe of how lost the western and other parts of the world are. Anyone who cares to try garnering just a SMALL part of understanding what is lost, can visit my site dedicated to my father: http://kouzhontaco.webs.com/chief.htm

Story behind the song
The lyrics came from re-connecting with an old high school bud that played bass in one of my first bands. It is a song that many can relate to on an emotional level. Hope you feel this one.
Lyrics
Old Friend You know it's been so many years Many miles from home Had our laughter, cried our tears Lovers we had known Here we are, we're still the same Old friend Some have died along the way Some have just grown cold Still we move on to another day Down our seperate roads Through it all, not much has changed Old friend We climbed the mountains, rode the winds Carrying all our dreams Born to lose, but somehow win It's how it had to be Here we are, we're still the same Old friend
