Granny Didn’t Give A Hoot
Granny reached the age of 101
She did most everything under the sun
Fulfilled all of her dreams and desires
Wanted to achieve the impossible before she expired
She was a daredevil; had no fears
Still youthful despite her many years
She climbed all the mountains peaks and hills
Wouldn’t see a doctor or take any pills
She traveled in planes boats and balloons----------------------- {Chorus
She wanted a trip up to the moon
Her greatest wish was to parachute
She didn’t care how high she didn’t give a hoot
She smoked cigarettes and her pipe
Swore a lot but never ever griped
Every day she drank a pint of gin
Had the greatest morals; stayed away from sin
She drove her model T at highest speeds
Very independent; cared for her own needs
Tilled the farm with a team of mules
Obeyed the commandments; but had her own rules
She traveled in planes boats and balloons----------------------- {Chorus
She wanted a trip up to the moon
Her greatest wish was to parachute
She didn’t care how high she didn’t give a hoot
To celebrate reaching 101
She thought jumping from a plane would be fun
She strapped on her gear; told the pilot to fly higher
She said se wanted to fulfill her last desire
She jumped from the cockpit with a grin
Before she knew she was in a tailspin
Great granny did most everything she set out to do
The parachute didn’t open; she never reached the age of 102
She traveled in planes boats and balloons----------------------- {Chorus
She wanted a trip up to the moon
Her greatest wish was to parachute
She didn’t care how high she didn’t give a hoot
The moral of this story I must relate
Don’t trifle with life or tamper with fate
