Sung by David Brooks

Singer/songwriter of acoustic & country music.
I am a singer songwriter but mostly a songwriter. I write country music and play at writer's nights in Nashville, Tennssee. I have been writing since I was in High School in 1978. I have written over 400 songs over the years and try to write songs about real life that have a little depth and meaning instead of the usual fluff heard on most radio stations.

Story behind the song
I met an old man in front of Dennys and he wanted some money to eat so I gave him some but thought he would really spend it on booze but I was wrong!
Lyrics
The old man asked for a dollar In front of the hometown grill He said thats all I need To buy me lunch So I handed him a bill I pictured him buyin cheap wine Then he followed me inside Ordered soup and coffee Sat there and smiled It was then I realized Chorus: Who am I to judge Throw the first stone Put myself up on a throne In God's eye's Were equally loved Who am I to judge? He had a tatoo of a tiger Sittin on a chromed out Harley He's long haired trouble, in black leather Right from a backstreet alley Then a little girl climbed on He gentley kissed his little Jewel Threw her arms around him, said I love you daddy As they rode away from school Chorus: repeat
