NOT A HOME
Never thought I’d say I would be a happier man
If this country hadn’t changed
Always thought this land was heading for better days
But then somehow it lost its way
Now there are black skies and there are black bells
And there are villains at the helm
This country’s not a home anymore
Not the same same place I’ve come from
This country’s not a home anymore
Not a home
Never thought I’d see my fellow countrymen
Marching in a foreign land
Always thought men of peace don’t come in tanks
But now I understand
It’s not a failed attempt but an evil plan
It’s pre war times again
This country…
Ignore the sick, forget the poor, dispose the old, close down
The hospitals and schools
Wellfare, humanity, common sense and solidarity
Leave them for the fools
No building up, just tearing down,
The shape of things to come
