Domesticated Animals is a Toledo, OH based band honing their skills and perfecting their art the only way they know how - by working hard and getting things acc
Formed along the North coast of Ohio, Domesticated Animals started out as collaboration between two long-time friends who shared an addiction to music. Their only true goal was to create music that they would pay money to listen to themselves. They leave open plenty of creative space in which to roam, with influences ranging from Rachmaninov to Pantera. However, their natural tendency is to favor guitar-driven music rooted most deeply in rock and blues. Hopefully you will enjoy what their collaboration has produced. Since their inception in 2005 many things have since changed The band is led By Keith J. The other founding member, Craig, has left to pursue other avenues. And so it is that Keith J. is continuing what the two have started.

Story behind the song
This is a song I wrote for my wife and the struggles she endures.
Lyrics

Strand

"I'm getting old before my time," She said as she looked at me. "I'm tired of feeling not quite right," "And don't like what I have seen."
"Everyday is like a chore," "To get out of bed," "To wear a smile or lift my head," "And try to seem worthwhile."
The plaster on the kitchen walls, I cracked and falling down. The air is cold with pounding rain, And I don't want to be round.
I wish that every time I asked, "How are you feeling?" The question would erase, And help to start the healing.
I can only be here for you. I can try to understand. When you can't stand the pain of this, I can hold your hand.
Having coffee in the fall, Seems so far away. A little piece of a better time, With snow on Christmas day.
I can only be here for you. I can try to understand. When you can't stand the pain of this, I can hold your hand.
