Acoustic rock and folk rock with country, blues, and American Songbook influences.
Formerly "Dr. C and the Stratocats," I'm now on a solo career as "Dr. C," but I had to change my stage name here because someone else had already claimed it. My music strives for melody above all else; I strive to make my songs memorable, so you can whistle a tune immediately. I see melody as the element most lacking in contemporaryr music. I love Sinatra and the Beatles, Gordon Lightfoot, Paul Simon, anyone who can write a memorable "tune."

Story behind the song
Another love song for my true love.
Lyrics
Forever My Mrs. When we were dancing I could see splendor emanate from your face I was enraptured, my heart was captured my hand firm on your waist. Stepping and stalling, twirling and falling I heard you calling me home When your breast brushed me, a thousand lights rushed me I wanted to make you my own Later in bed with the stars as a witness I worshiped your body with solemn slow kisses I wanted to make you forever my Mrs. and hold your body in my body's hold. When we were walking, I walked behind to drink in your perfect shape I was enraptured, my heart was captured by your unselfconscious grace. Laughing and talking, hiking and mocking all the stuffed shirts in a breath, You were the ocean, the cliffs and its motion Your smile much sweeter than death Later in bed with the stars as a witness I worshiped your body with solemn slow kisses I wanted to make you forever my Mrs. and hold your body in my body's fold.
