Hi! I'm Bobby McGee a singer/songwriter from western North Carolina. I started a prison ministry 24 years ago and as "Christsong", my wife and I, travel to prisons all over the country playing and singing. We also play at churches to support the ministry. Story behind the song
I was thinking about the Lord giving His life for me and how it must have felt to die in that manner. I hope I was able to express with emotion the way I feel inside.

I wrote this with a heavy heart as I realized that I was part of the reason that the SON of GOD died a cruel death upon a rugged cross..I tried to express the emotion of that reality.
