An old classic from fornever's ethereal period... Moody synths, echoing guitars, and poetic lyrics full of metaphor and imagery

Story behind the song
An old song from around '97, released on the Pale album in '99. The album as a whole was sort of a personal examination of myself as I was slowly healing from a period of depression, and "a reflection" is sort of a centerpiece of that examination..
Lyrics
Your eyes paint a portrait A blurred vision of burning roses in the killing field down to the staircase below pushing into the television screen bleeding out of time three warped figures moving like water, red water In the mirror through the cracked wall Through the keyhole with teeth gone madness face A flickering candle flame painted skin And a shapeless figure in the distance An animal kissing, pushing through the wall Marble stained blood laughing, sharp and torn laughing and dancing flesh and blood sex and hatred Bathed in red And I scream, fading away
