Evan Paul is a very unique artist. His music is totally original, multi-genre, mostly acoustic, new age, easy listening, uplifting and spiritual.
I'm a Canadian songwriter musician and have recently released my first CD, "Spirits in the Sky". It's an instrumental, classical guitar album with sweeteners such as flute and strings. After decades of performing in various bands and as solo, I have finally settled on recording and writing, and only playing live ocasionally. Result, is a sweet, easy listening and spiritually uplifting work that defies any genre placement. It's pure acoustic and very melodic. Also, one will notice vocal songs and collaborations with various world artists. Presently, my latest CD "Eklektika" is active. It's one of the most original multi-genre instrumental album ever created. Unlike my previous, "Spirits in the Sky" collection, this one has percussion, a little more punch, but still retains that Evan Paul style of classical guitar playing. Enjoy!!!

Sitting at the beautiful Georgian Bay beach playing my guitar, and watching one of natures wonders. Georgian Bay sunsets are an awsome sight to see in an everchanging panoramic view, simply breathtaking.

Beautiful music here. Guitar and flute blend so well. Brings back to mind when Chief Rodney Monague invited us to play music on Christian Island in the early 70s. Saw how beautiful Georgian Bay was then. Enjoyed this very much Evan

I was taken by your simple statement of your work. my aim is to make it beautiful, make it simple, focused and melodic, but most of all, make it original. You have succeeded on all fronts. Wonderful skillfully guitar playing. Love the strings and flute implemented into this piece. Waiting for that special sunset and the title is perfect! Love the walk down's and the double rhythm you play the second time around and third time on walk down's. Love the duet harmony on the guitar too and then surprise me with tenor harmony later. It's incrediable and beautiful! :)

Lovely piece Evan. Your guitar playing is masterful and your symphonic accompanyment is so soothing and sensual. Love the flute tones and spirit. My dad took me on a fishing trip to Georgian bay in '60. I still remember those huge grey rocks...secret islands with tall, white pines whose shape spoke of winter winds. Mystical places. You've captured it all here. Bravo!
