I'm a singer-songwriter, so, for the most part I peddle my songs alone. When I do play with others, I most often play with my husband, Barry Crannell. We call ourselves Heart and Hammer.
Story behind the song
It was one of those bumy times of life where you just face the music that's playing.
Lyrics
BED THAT I HAVE MADE © 2000 Julianna Waters
Sitting like a bump on a log,
Looking out through the windows of my soul and I have
Cried my eyes out today
The seasons are changing and the clocks are falling back and
I have lost my way.
And it’s not anything old, and it’s not anything new,
But it’s hard to call this place my own,
And it is not too deep, but it is certainly not shallow,
I’m just trying to find my way towards home.
Walking like a camel in the desert
I slog my way across the dunes and it’s an
Ocean of slips and slides.
And as far as my eyes can see
There’s not much more or less ahead of me,
Yeah it’s the same old up and down for miles and miles.
And I’ve turned my back on the old ways
Tried to look forward to some better days
But it’s like slamming up against a wall.
And I know I believe in something and something believes in me but like
Autumn leaves I’m taking a fall.
Slow motion, black and white, all the colors seem to fade,
Somewhere soft between what’s wrong and what is right,
This is the bed that I have made.

And I know I believe in something and something believes in me but like

Slow motion, black and white,
All the colors seem to fade,
Somewhere soft between what’s wrong and what is right,
This is the bed that I have made,
This is the bed that I have made.
