I am a Hip-Hop and R&B artist as well as a songwriter. I was born Ca'Mari-Rashun raised in Chicago, I'm no different from any other inspiring artist. I work hard, dream big and is still moving towards my dreams. My story starts in Chicago after ii graduated from high school ii went to New York pursued my music career. There in New York ii met my favorite producer of all times Timbaland, he encouraged me to work on my vocals, do talent shows, create a name for myself. I came back to Chicago with this bigger dream of becoming a mainstream artist, that ii hooked up with a crowd individuals who promised me a bright future and career in music. I wrote and recorded with them numerous times did back vocals you name it ii most likely did LOL. It was no surprise that ii didn't get that bright future with that group of individuals nor did it kill my dream of becoming a mainstream artist. I separated myself from that crowd and began to make moves on my own. No hard feelings or grudges against them, because ii knew it would help me in the long run. Working with them ii grew a thick skin that prepared me for the let downs and the harsh reality in this industry. I will admit that ii have never been good with a computer, until my brother showed me how to create music for myself by myself on my computer. That in its self was a blessing, I no longer had to purchase beats with limited usage ii could create and use my own material. After about two years of learning how to compose and write ii built my courage back up to allow few to hear what ii have done. Although it wasn't at it's best it was a start. I would half way complete a song and play it for anyone who would listen, if they liked ii would finish it; if not ii tossed it and went back to the drawing board. To skip right to the good stuff LOL...ii kept working and working vocally on music and writing. I'm not fully there yet but ii have come a long ways from not knowing anything about this industry to getting emails from local artist to help them write songs or make beats ii feel some what accomplished and ii plan to keep growing and being heard. Just wait you'll see.......UNTIL THEN ......I'm not different from you. I have a dream and determination to make it happen.
