Imagine an old-timer telling stories about his youth. It starts off in the present, with the old man represented by a New Orleans style drag. As his story progresses, the music fades back to his youth and transitions to a happy musical portrayal of a young man. As the story fades back to the present, both music lines cross-fade to the old man's completion of the story.
