Acoustic, Alternative, Blues and Rock
I had my first 4 track cassette recorder when I was 16 and I've still got most of the recordings, but you won't find those here! Some funny, some stupid, some ok bits, lots of rubbish! 30 years later I'm still writing and recording my own stuff - drum machine, bass, guitars and keyboards - (which I'm learning). Soundclick is breathing a bit of new life into my music - it's giving me an outlet, a meeting space, a place of inspiration. I hope that in the coming year, there will be some collaborations and swapping of music, thoughts and ideas. I do seem, however, to be spending an awful lot of time at this computer.........

A deep synth, a delayed acoustic guitar with some spanish accents, drums and bass coming in.
Minor chords, vocals indicating here´s someone who blames not the west or the east but rather those who decide, those who have the power, for dividing mankind.
Strong vocals here, strong statements, a rock solid arrangement and a chorus that keeps asking the questions that count:

Though you´re the junior here, John (little running gag between John and me, he was born Dec 63, me August 63, so that makes me a senior here, right?) okay though you´re the junior you mastered a pretty tough task here, turn a political issue into an artistic expression. Very well done.
You are finding exactly the right words. Those are by far less complicated than the BS we keep hearing from those who govern. And the bottom line is, I´m convinced: The solution for Gaza, Afganistan, Iraq and many ot
Amazing song, deserves so many more stars than allowed here on SC!!! Love the angle you wrote this song from, don't know the show you watched to inspire it, but must have been a very good show. I try not to be a very political person, war is a sad tragedy, it will never end, only inhabit more of the planet, the longer it spins... my feelings, negative I know, but just a sad subject! But John your lyrics are so, so true, this song is just awesome. I don't play or know anything about electric guitar at all but I really LOVE the sound/effects you're using on it here, just amazing sound, and of course I love the intro with the acoustic, acoustic is where it's at for me :) I play bass now and then, and love your bass and rhythm as well, everything is just great, what more can I say!! Great production, should be heard by the whole friggin world! And don't worry about what God thinks of this song....I'm totally sure he would approve. ;) Keep em coming John....you're
