Inspired by my oddly 70's psychadelia infused nightmares.
punk rock experimental noise weird odd strange comedy chiptune 8bit sketch
This is just various outtakes from GEM Studios (Mad-Mike 2003-present) done during the recording process ie. jokes, weird compositions that don't fit anything e
Over the course of my time recording my own music at home, I have created some really oddball stuff that I figure now I'm ready to share with the world. That's what this page is for, to release some of my really goofey experimental stuff.

Story behind the song
I had lots of nightmares as a child, most of them were like something out of Hell's Disco - and this totally improved mess - driven mostly by an out of tune Double Fat Tele Deluxe and a Kawasaki Keyboard that looked like a giant Lego block with keys on it (total kids toy) - is what came out of that jam. The keyboard had this horrible wobbly, probably supposed to sound like an analog synth, noise. It was inspired by the 70's funk-like vibe of a nightmare city full of ghosts, goblins, trolls, monsters, and creepy old men (like Mr. Popper's himself) - oh yeah, and the garbage cans are like R2-D2's demonic twin. Hopefully that paragraph of psychopathic babble explains things well enough.
