He began life in jeopardy; obtained all that this world has to offer; and ended his days as a servant of the Most High. One of the only men ever to be known as meeting God 'face to face'.

God's Word presented in song and verse.
in those quiet times spent alone with Him and in His Word. After nine years composing, arranging and recording... The Alpha & Omega Suite was finished at the end of 2008 and is ready for distribution in 2009! The Suite consists of thirty five parts which span two hours and forty minutes. This inspired music praises God and His Word; introduces His laws; His doctrines; His decrees; His covenants; and His grace to those who may never be exposed to His written Word otherwise. No glory, honor, or prestige is given to this earthly vessel, only to the One Who deserves it and is worthy of it!

Story behind the song
Rarely does a person come along who is precisely right for the job ahead, but when such a person is correctly matched for the task, history is impacted! Such a person was Moses. He was born at a time when Abraham's descendants had reached an all-time low in society and were in desperate need of a leader empowered with special abilities, as well as a close relationship with Jehovah. Moses was born low, raised high, and taken back down again until he was ready to be utilized in the important task that God had in store for him. Though the son of slaves, Moses was raised in the palace of the Pharaoh and educated with the highest standards which Egypt had to offer. But complimentary to his royal upbringing, he also had exposure to the Jehovic intimacy in which his Abrahamic ancestry offered. He alone had this combination of both worlds... along with a sharp and keen mind, complimented by a good, compassionate, understanding heart. There had been no other person so well equipped for the task of leading God's people out of slavery and into the promised land! Moses did his job so well that not only did he become known as the deliverer of the Jews but also was referred to as the 'deliverer of the law'. After leading the people through the wilderness, the laws which had been handed down from God to Moses were simultaneously known as the 'law of God' and the 'law of Moses'. Centuries later, even the Christ was quite comfortable referring to the 'laws of Moses' and exalting his position above that of other men. Moses had been His intimate friend throughout the Exodus and again during his time on earth. No other person had the same type of 'face to face' friendship with the Maker of all things! In the same way that Israel didn't deserve the slavery which was thrust upon them, they also didn't deserve the special favor and personal interaction which God lavished on them through Moses. Their lack of faith was a constant weakness as they complained and whined the entire time God's blessings were poured out on them. This made Moses's role as leader even more difficult. Not only was he expected to mediate between God and the people, but he also had to deal with the daily grumblings which were so characteristic of a people not sure whether they preferred freedom over their previous slavery. God's grace was manifested, His patience was tested, and Moses's leadership was stretched to the limit. 'On The Misty Mount With Moses' touches upon a unique man used by God for a very special purpose at just the right time in Israel's history. Never before and never since has the Lord delivered a people in so dynamic and majestic a fashion. He used the events surrounding the Exodus to display His power and might to a confused world blinded by the temporal and tempted by what is false! But just like all other times in which God advanced His revelations to mankind, He used a person; equipped him for the job; and guided him on the path. No better a person than Moses has ever come along. This is his song.
Lyrics
_________________________________________________________________________ (Verse 1) Face to face you spoke with God, I-Am. Such an honor and gift He didn't give to any other man. Born low in slavery. Brought high but fallen down again. No more palaces or courtyards. Only pastures of sheep and plains of sand. (Verse 2) You stretched out your staff and parted the sea. To walk on dry ground, your people would have a way to flee. Defeated Pharaoh's army so he knew it is the Lord you trust. The nation cried and lied and fussed. You lead them through the Exodus. (Chorus) Stepping right out of their chains. Freed from bondage and all other pains. Now Jehovah Himself in their midst as He reigns! He did this for no other land. Boldly stepping out and taking a stand. Revealing His great plan promised to Abraham! _________________________________________________________________________ (Verse 3) Man from the Nile, where have you gone? You climbed and you scaled to the top of the mountain. Returned from on high with good news in your hand. But found a rebellious people building gods and defying the land. (Verse 4) Held a staff of wood up high in the air. Prevailing over foes that Jehovah wanted out of there. Forty long years seems like such a long trek. But God promised to lead them, meet their needs and protect. (Chorus 2) Guide them both day and night. As they follow a pillar of light. With Jehovah Himself guiding and giving sight! Wake-up! Get up out of bed. Nothing to fear. No things to dread. With manna from heaven, they were even fed. _________________________________________________________________________ (Ending) Exodus, Leviticus. Numbers too and Deuteronomy.
