Bryan O'Quinn: R&B, Dance, House Music Neo-Soul and Afro Grooves #bryanoquinn #electronicdance #housemusic #afrobeat #neosoul #rnb #worldmusic
Bryan O'Quinn was one of the few underground dance music artists to enjoy negligible mainstream exposure during the late 80s and early 90s heyday of hip-hop soul. O'Quinn's smooth seductive crooning style and exciting dance moves earned him a significant female following and made him a presence on the up and coming R&B, dance and underground house music scene. Even after industry grimier brands of output eclipsed the ultramodern love stories OQuinn favored, he transitioned his music into the more retro-leaning neo-soul movement, as it was honest and inevitable.

Story behind the song
"There is a Japanese visual art where the artist is forced to be spontaneous. He must paint on a thin stretched parchment with a out of the ordinary brush and black water paint. These artists must practice a particular discipline, which of allowing the idea to express itself in such a direct way that anticipation cannot be a part of this creating process. American a recording artist Bryan OQuinn who has had some success as a house music vocal recording artist Has said that jazz music and house music have many performances correlations. Both jazz and house are American musical art forms originated in the 20th century in African American communities. Bryan OQuinn has said, For me the common elements in Jazz and House are the spiritual groove content and the spontaneity everyone is moving, grooving and breathing together as the music takes you to a very similar place of good mutual feelings. Brian Shears was the aspiring pianist/ producer associated with Bryan OQuinns music in 1991-92, and during this timespand the two young men of music collaborated on a number of experimental show pieces and together they developed a keen sense of improvisation in hip hop and a rather retro leaning jazz style that often held the attention of any onlookers.
