We are one-man band playing mostly our own compositions heavily influenced by Big-beat styles of 60-80s and a little Blues-flavour.
Nowdays it's mainly one-man band, friends are given a hand,at times."Music was my first love and it will be my last"!.Just can't quit composing my own songs and playin' for "constantly shrinking audiences"...

Something Strange by Dawn Sinclair 0:02 Something strange has happened Suddenly I'm not the same I'm just not sure if I could give this stranger name It's something, it's something so strange Bear with me, I'm thinking it out, could it be--it is me 0:33 Happy is a place I haven't been yet I believe it's somewhere I'll be visiting soon With the right shoes on my feet, I'm willing to bet I could even make it there this afternoon So I'm packing up the past and dumping it now I am clearing out the bad old blues with their tears I could do without the discontent anyhow Gonna leave it in the bad old sad old years 0:58 Yes, it really happened I am feeling mighty strange It's flowing over me, this urge to make a change And something--is coming real soon Bear with me, I'm slow but I'm sure you will see-- a new me 1:29 Happy is a place I haven't been yet I believe it's somewhere I'll be visiting soon With the right shoes on my feet, I'm willing to bet I could even make it there this afternoon So I'm packing up the past and dumping it now I am clearing out the bad old blues with their tears I could do without the discontent anyhow Gonna leave it in the bad old sad old years

Juri, This absolutley stellar , love the mandolin intro , and then the change of pace , with The ABBA like vocal feeling along with Fleetwood Mac influence , almost feels like a fast waltz , really avery catchy tune , the production is fantastic so clear , every instrument can be heard clearly amazing stuff here wish it lasted longer but I can always hit play again ! the percussion and rythms always amazes me how you get it all working together , I have no understanding of competing frequencys and fine tuning a mix from a sound engineer point of view , this had to have taken some time ...is there a piano in there somewhere ? I like the slide guitar ( Harrison ) sound too. nice ! I am still working on " play it again " and " Human race" I put them up on my page but " human race " it sounds too muddy , there are some bass freq that are not right and " Play it again "is getting better Itook your advice and rewrote the entire bass track . cheers D

Your production is always top shelf. But... this song is just fantastic. Talk about a change of pace? The lyrics are telling a really neat familiar story. Like the opening mandolin? Really does have trappings of George Harrison/Beatles a lost track from the White Album perhaps. Infectious melody. I agree with Dawn a good thing is Amy is young an older person might be looking for the oxygen tank. Great vocal work. If that is real harmony then even more so impressive. And last but certainly not least I must give kudos to Erik. Great work by all.

Well, I am amazed how Amy did that without collapsing on the floor gasping for breath...so bravo her...every word is clear! The music is refreshingly different and I love the mandolin start and all those kooky percussion bits and bobs.... bendy notes again on the geetar sounds like a cross between George Harrison and a Hawaaiian beach boy....all in all a most unique blend and I'll be most interested in Erik's view of it. Me...I love it!
