Song inspired by the movie 'The End Of The Spear.' It's a song about Being willing to lay down our lives so others may hear the Gospel just like Jim Elliot and the others did in South America many years ago

Story behind the song
I had wanted to write about this since I first saw the movie. I wrote some lines and came up with the melody and then sent it to Blair to do his thing. He tweaked a bunch of it and re-wrote a bunch.
Lyrics
END OF THE SPEAR By Lonnie Crampsey and Blair Byron MacLean They heard the voice of Jesus Calling from the jungle "Come and search for my lost ones And prove that I love them" So they carried their witness To the heart of Ecuador Where they paid the greatest price To give the people Gods word chorus In His hands We have purpose In His footsteps The way is clear Even when we're lead, Lead to the end of the spear We do not live unto death We live and die so others will hear Even if we lose our lives at the end of a spear v2 We hear the voice of Jesus Calling to this world He's building His kingdom With the light of His word And if we listen closely We'll hear a holy choir The sweetest praises of faith surrounded by the song of the martyred
