Story behind the song
My dad came to the States about 40 years ago and stayed to give us a better life. He has always longed to return to his homeland of Taiwan. When I did this track, I imagined him returning to his small countryside village. It would be raining and overcast; sort of gloomy and sad, hence the acoustic guitar and reed solo in the beginning. As he approaches his former home, memeories of his childhood return and he remembers all the happy times. Later, he finally meets his relatives, which he hasn't seen for many years, and they reminice about years long gone
