What do you get when you add 3 musicians with a broad taste of music and stage experience mixed with a dead bird print on the kitchen window? Exactly, DeadBird! Music that brings you to an oasis of tranquillity up to pitching rock, where influence of psychedelic rock, stoner and progressive go hand in hand. Deadbird is formed by Emiel, Renske and Paul. Emiel previously played guitar in the band BlueBrain. He also did a big part of the vocals and wrote a lot of songs. The band mostly made progressive rock. Renske played the bassguitar in the Band Trees Lounge, a punkpop band. She also played the drums for a while, but in DeadBird she once again found the bassguitar. The various rythms you hear in DeadBird come from the man behind the drums. Paul worn a lot of drumsticks in the band Persistense. With them he provided several stages in Holland with Metal. After a year and a half searching for a capable guitar player for a 4man formation, DeadBird moved on with 3. Nowadays they can't think otherwise. With the carrying guitar sound by Emiel, DeadBird has a solid ground on stage! DeadBird likes to put a lot of atmosphere and dynamics in their music. Their music is approachable and therefor suitable for a broad audience and any musicevent. They are at their best on a stage! Rock on! Emiel, Paul en Renske

Lyrics
Dead Bird Sun awakes the day, snow has come our way Warmth and bread are hard to find I spread my wings to fly, a first touch of sky Beneath a light reveals a shape Here I am, gonna send my love to your cage as much as I can Here I am, to be king and queen united under lock and key Got to break trough some glass to get to you A matter of speed a lightning flight I focus on my strike, it’s love or I’ll die Waited long enough no more thinking twice Here I am, gonna send my love to your cage as much as I can Here I am, to be king and queen united under lock and key Spread my wings to fly away And fall in your arms again Spread my wings to fly To the blue and early morning sky And fly away with you
