NOTE: If you want to hear the songs as an album playing in sequence, Click on the arrow in the KB Gunn and Friends upper banner and a page will pop up that allows continuous play of all the songs in proper order. This Band Page is called KB Gunn & Friends. I have been asked who my friends are. They are Jay Stern and Steve Webb who together with me formed a 1990's music group called "Ruach". Also, David McMahon sings "Lay Down Your Nets", my contribution to Christian Country music. Also, Everett "Slowhand" Jenkins, one of my favorite guitarists, performed powerful lead guitar in the "Nine Eleven" (demo version) as well as all guitar parts in "Lay Down Your Nets". Enjoy. Shalom KB Gunn visionoutreach.net BIOGRAPHY KB Gunn has been a musician and recording engineer for so long that he can't remember when he started. He is certain that it was after the advent of the industrial age, but before man walked on the moon. He used to freeze his tootsies in the frozen tundra of southern Vermont, but now resides in south eastern North Carolina. It is so nice to be warm. KB has a habit of being unconventional when it comes to Christian music because he does not listen often to existing CCM recordings. He does not want to be locked into a formula. He does not see himself as a minister to Christians, but as a minstrel to Christians to be. He has a focus on evangelism, not praise and worship for ministry to the Church. If Christians like the music, that is just fine, but it is meant to bring a lost and dying generation to a relationship with Jesus. Isn't that what it is all about? KB was raised in a Jewish home and was being groomed to become a cantor. When he was Bar Mitzvah, he decided to leave Judaism and be a rock and roller. At the age of 28, he became a Christian and started singing songs to the Lord after all. Not quite what the cantor and rabbi wanted, but it was what the Lord wanted. The first 10 songs in this collection are a preview of my new album, K.O.O.K. due out by summer of 2009 in CD format. K.O.O.K. is an acronym for "Keeper Of Outstanding Knowledge".

Lyrics
Nine Eleven It may seem that life is throwing you an unexpected curve, And all the consequences that result are more than you deserve Don’t give up now.... Trust in God and He will lead you on the path of righteousness, Fear no evil, He will lead you on the path of righteousness. It may seem the people all around you run and hide in fear, The evil one attacks and tries to take from you all you hold dear, Don’t give up now........ There’s a hole in your soul and you haven’t felt whole in a long time, You’ve worked hard all your life, you have nothing to show, your past your prime. The Twin Towers may crumble and thousands may fall at your right hand, Do not fear the night terrors or Al Qaeda threats throughout our land. Fear not for I Am with you says the Lord. All the dreams that you have dreamed and dreamed have seemed to pass you by, Scores and scores of people run right past and leave you there to die. Don’t give up, now Trust in God and lean not on your own understanding x2 All the hurts and pains you stored up in your mind must be released, Give them up to Jesus, place them at His feet and receive His peace. Don’t give up now, Trust in God and lean not on your own understanding Trust in God and lean not on your own understanding Trust in God and lean not on your own understanding Trust in God and lean not on your own understanding For God has not given you a Spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. Trust in God.
