FIRE AND CLOUD

In my darkest night
You have been my pillar of light
In my brightest day
You have been my pillar of cloud
To show me the way
You lay out the road ahead of me
Lit by bright glory
You lay out the path ahead of time
Guiding my steps
By your wonderful love divine
There are paths that seem right
But they are trails to eternal night
In these darkest days
You have been a fire in the clouds
To show me the way
I look to you to help me see
The road of the holy
I look to you to help me hear
By speaking your words
That drives away all my hidden fears
In my darkest night
You have been my pillar of light
In my brightest days
You have been a pillar of cloud
To show me the way
I am a pilgrim in this world
Walking after you.
Following your ancient paths
To Jerusalem renewed
Thank you Lord Jesus Christ
for being my pillar of light
From the dead you are raised
Now you are the banner
That shows me the way.
