Story behind the song
Earlier this year Beatport.com held a competition to remix this song and I tried my hand at it. Here's the slightly polished version I did.
I've been a big fan of PVD's for a while now and oddly this wasn't the first track of his that I wanted to remix. There's another song that stands out there more, but I like this one almost as much. The original, though short, is very nice and packs a punch when it comes to dance energy.
As time goes by I'm learning to love Trance more and more. So enjoy this little nugget of (more) things to come from me.
And in typical DV fashion, I've loaded this one with oodles of distort and spaced-phasing. To give it that 'Distant' feel, befitting it's title. Also in my usual fashion, this isn't what I'd consider to be traditional Trance music. I hadta give it a slight Electro vibe. Well all, I'm off for now. Happy new years and enjoy!
