Singer songwriter - seem to be writing poppy rock ballads in a very British style these days.
Chris Butler is a bit of a reborn rocker! A stalwart of the 1980s and 1990s Leeds music scene in bands such as The Necklace and Hangman's Smile, he has recently returned to song-writing and Very Soon represents his first visit to the studio since the days of Tascam four-tracks and egg-boxes! Very Soon is a major departure from the jangly indie-rock of the early days and is very much a soft-rock ballad. Written for and inspired by his partner :) Watch this space for more in the future....Chris definitely has the bug back,

Story behind the song
I was asked to write a song for Christmas. Hadn't done anything serious so I wrote this for the woman who means the world to me.
