the bunkbeds are jim higgins and the occasional guest players. home made indy rock lofi musings that doesn't take itself to seriously best describes the music and the band. everything recorded at home all on cheap n nasty equipment. the ultimate bedroom band. of late i have found myself collaborating with musicians the world over, predominantly with lyrics and vocals so if you have a tune banging around that you cant come up with lyrics for send it my way and i'll see if i can help.

Story behind the song
ken sent me the music with an idea for the lyric, giving it the title lolita. i wasn't sure about that title but i tried every other name i could think of but lolita worked best. so it stayed lolita. ken as usual the task master whipped numerous vocal performances from me and choose this one, all themusic and backing vocals and original concept are all ken's idea and work, all i did was the lyrics and sing, ken i am not worthy.
