Filmmusic needs to be more than just convenient.
I'm a German filmcomposer in my mid twenties working from my home studio. Composing began as a hobby to me and later evolved to a full-time job. I use this page to upload a lot of music I've been doing in my free time.

Danman,
this is a pretty classic score that really kind of highlights to me many of the things you have always done well, particularly the subtle transitions. Its calm melody at first suggest its background music, but it demands attention as its constantly shifting and changing so that one cant help but be drawn into the wintery scene you have created. I love the first entrance of the orchestra, and it really just takes off from there. The clarinet (i think) soloing and then being taken into the orchestra is a beautiful and I love the orchestra aronud 3:12. Thanks for the piece

Denny,
Excellent work, as always you surprise me.
Your piece has all the elements that makes a good SoundTrack.
Imaginative Orchestration, nice and easy melodies, power and Expressivity. But what makes it special for me is that you have variation not repetition and that keeps listener attention live.
Several good moments:
1:40- The falling movement of the whole orchestra.
3:30- Nice and original texture
5:00- Woods conversation like
6:10- An almost single Trumpet touch gives impresive color
8:.. -Nice conclusion by reexposition
All over the piece nice separation of all the sections....!! It looks almost like a Symphonic Poem.
Believe me that I am 52 yo composer, if at your age are so good, you will reach very high. You do well in composing now at the Hollywood Style, you have to learn the Style, but very soon you will be able to create your own way of expression as it looks following your evolution.
Mi sincere congratulations.

Denny, you have a very creative imagination. Reading your background you seem to have little musical education, but obviously a very good ear. I agree with the other comments wholeheartedly. I also love your software sounds and your excellent production. Derek
