This one has a couple of audio clips mixed in. The first is from 'Blazing Saddles' and the 2nd from 'Patton'. I hope no one minds... they helped me make my point.

Funky Alternative Blues Rock with an acoustic Guitar and Harp. This CD is a completely solo effort written, performed, produced and mixed in my own home studio
I’m just a working guy that loves to play music. Did some writing and recording in 2007 & ’08 and here are some of the results. I do a solo acoustic bit locally now and haven’t played in bands for awhile but who knows what's next. I’m always open to new stuff. I wrote, play all of the instruments and sing the songs that you’re hearing. Also mixed and produced them in my home studio. Still compiling enough original material to fill up a CD but I’ll soon be there. So much music and so little time! I know there are a lot of folks out there that are making music but not that many that do the entire thing. For this CD I really wanted it to be a TRULY SOLO effort! Anyway, I hope these tunes will keep you listening! Enjoy! All the Best- Acoustic Alternative Pat

Story behind the song
This song is about being careful who we listen to and how a seemingly great idea can be very bad indeed! Remember all of the great leaders throughout history that people followed down a path to their own destruction.
Lyrics
Follow the Leader? Will you lead- or will you follow? Will you put it off ‘til tomorrow? Will you make a stand- will you join the fight? Come on, let’s go- we haven’t got all night Out of my way- or you get run over Cause we won’t stop- ‘til we get where we’re going It’s a noble cause- and it’s worth trying Just leave that part out- ‘bout the dying Does the music play- into your ears? Does it captivate you- did you shed a tear? If it don’t play- then you can change it It’s better that- than to have to face it Find the truth- did you find the answer? Nothing even- left to chance there? Let it stand to reason- inside my mind If it don’t add up- I ain’t got the time It’s a children’s game- called ‘follow the leader’ But as I go on- it gets much deeper When I get wise- I decide to play And it’s a hollow message- that I hear today Another time- and another place I might rise to arms- but not today It’s hard to stand- in those drifting sands When there’s no place left- to follow the man So pick the battle- don’t ‘cha even the score If you’re really good- you might just win the war Don’t leave it to them- to do your bidding Those that can’t do- teach for a living And don’t get sold- some ‘bill of goods’ Then get yourself stuck- out in those woods You know it’s said- that there’s trouble ahead When your heart is thinking- inside of your head Now will you lead- or will you follow? Don’t you put it off until tomorrow Will you make a stand- will you join the fight? Come on, let’s go- we haven’t got all night Out of the way- or you’ll get run over Cause they won’t stop- ‘til they get where they’re going It’s a noble cause- and it’s worth trying Just leave that part out- ‘bout the dying
