Songs I have been graciously given by the LORD over the past 35 years.
The CD's I am giving you are a compilation of 24 of the songs I have been graciously given by the LORD over the past 35 years. He has given me enough songs to make at least one more CD of the same size, but it takes time putting these together. The "Then And Now" album has songs from four different decades. I am very thankful for the computer program "Garage Band," without which these CDs would not have been made.

Story behind the song
This song came to me in fall 2008 during the same week as "It's a Beautiful Day." What precipitated the song was an incedent that occured at my work. While strapping down a load of steel, I noticed that the strap my coworker was helping with was not in the slot, but on the lip of the trailer rail where it was possible to pop loose. After I pointed this out to him he fixed it. When I arrived at the destination of my delivery, I noticed that his strap was fixed, but I had made the very same mistake on my strap that he had initially made with his. Immediately the Bible verse about being able to see the speck in your neighbor's eye, while missing the log in your own eye, popped into my head.
