Songs I have been graciously given by the LORD over the past 35 years.
The CD's I am giving you are a compilation of 24 of the songs I have been graciously given by the LORD over the past 35 years. He has given me enough songs to make at least one more CD of the same size, but it takes time putting these together. The "Then And Now" album has songs from four different decades. I am very thankful for the computer program "Garage Band," without which these CDs would not have been made.

Story behind the song
This song was composed in 1980 and is taken from Isaiah 59:1-4a, 9, 14-17, and 20-21. Most of the song is directly quoted; but some of the verses I have paraphrased. As I considered the deteriorating moral condition of our nation, I saw parallels to the nation of Israel during the time of Isaiah. The end of the song proclaims the remedy for the dire straits in which an ungodly nation finds itself.
