Maybe Scientists Shouldn't Hold Hands
I need to add backup vocals and lead guitar, but I didn't have time. Someday in the future I will.
Nothing happened before these low quality recordings were made with a bad mic on a computer with no knowledge of how to make good recordings.

Oops, I spilled the liquid nitrogen; oops, I think I froze off some skin.
Maybe, baby, we shouldn't play footsie when we're working in the laboratory.
I think that I am starting to take a shine to you (and all that data you take!).
The particles go 'pop, pop, pop,' smashing in accelerators,
like how our hearts go, 'thump, thump, thump,' when we experiment together.
I think we need a new field, one that's less demanding but still upstanding.
I hear biology is nice...oh wait! That's the source of our problems, ain't it?
Perhaps astronomy is right, but there's more to do under the stars than just sit....
These days I'm starting to think maybe scientists just shouldn't hold hands!
I'm plotting points trying to derive the set of equations that describe
this elementary and charming interaction that leads to such a strange attraction,
but I just can't seem to find them
in my mind, despite a search from top to bottom.
Like roller coasters, up and down, maybe it's sinusoidal.
I deserve a Nobel Prize if anything comes from all this toil.
