Nancy Kenyon is a singer/ song writer hailing from a small town in central New York. She has been performing all over upstate New York, and has traveled as far as Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as a member of a local band for about ten years. During this time Nancy has had the chance to open for such acts as The Romantics, Kansas, Blue Oyster Cult, Orleans, Mulberry Lane, Jana and Blessid Union of Souls. Throughout these years she has introduced her fans to her own style of original acoustic "folk-pop" music. During one of her performances the audience can experience sounds from the guitar, conga, harmonica and a unique and captivating voice that pulls on your heart strings. Nancy writes heartfelt songs of insecure love, fond memories of a small town childhood and wonder of the world to come in the next millennium. Nancy Kenyon's debut cd titled "I Want You To Know" was released in the spring of '99 and continues to do very well. One of the songs (Remember When) was included on the WOUR rock of central New York Millennium album, which featured many local artists from years past to now. Her most recent album came out in the spring of '03. It is titled "The Thought Of You". This time more instruments may be heard on her cd as the first one was mainly bare acoustic guitar and vocals. Truly showcasing her ability to write multi-genre songs with infectious tunes and lyrics that are able to touch many people.
