This is a piece that would sound nicely on a harp (possibly two harps) or even a number of other instruments.
[the following is copied and pasted from my main page] As a composer, I'm pretty much a composer on the side. When I have an idea, I write it down and go with it, but I don't focus all my musical energy into being a composer. I actually go through phases, or "seasons" as I would call if, of composing. I may compose very solidly for a few months on end and then not compose a thing for months on end. I am very much passionate about the compositions I do write. I also begin virtually every composition with pencil and staff paper, only transferring it onto an electronic medium (such as MakeMusic(tm)/Finale(tm)) as it becomes a finished product.

Story behind the song
I was inspired to write this piece after putting my keyboard on the harp setting and seeing what I would desire to write. This was the result. Honestly, I'm not sure if it's possible to play on an actual harp, though the moderately slow change of accidentals makes me think that it would be. It still makes a nice piano piece. This is a slow piece at quarter note = 60bpm, but the 8th note triplets keep it comfortably moving along. It begins in A minor, goes through various modulations, comes back to A minor, and then ends on a nice Picardy 3rd cadence.
