Timeless rock and roll with touches of R&B, soul and blues, and a voice you won't soon forget.
Blues wrote his first “official” song at the age of 5, and he hasn’t stopped since. Drawing from the rich history of rock, blues and R&B, Blues’ songs sound at once familiar, classic, and fresh. On his new release “Restoration”, Blues and producer Dan Strain have crafted a sound that compliments and supports Blues’ rich, soulful voice. The songs are written from a very personal place. However, many of the songs like “Let You Down”, “Learnin’ How to Live”, “You Have Touched Me” and “Kindness” touch on universal themes that resonate with the listener's own experiences.

KINDNESS © 1995 Gregg Lyne Seems like yesterday, Lyin’ in my arms You looked into my eyes And said you’d never go away I believed what you said, I believed in you I opened up my heart And I let you in But you cut me so deep And I bled for so long Until I thought the pain Would never go away You left me here And you never said a word You just walked away, No reason given If you’re gonna rock my world Try a little kindness Don’t keep comin’ round here It can only remind us Just walk away And we can leave it all behind us You don’t owe me a thing Here I go again Lord, it took so long Getting over you It took so very long To straighten out my head I thought I’d made it through, Thought I’d finally Pulled myself up to my feet Could start my life again But now you’re standing at my door Back to rub my nose In how great your life has been Since you went away You haven’t changed Here we go again At the scene of the crime The blood’s still on your hand If you’re gonna rock my world Try a little kindness Don’t keep comin’ round here It can only remind us Just walk away And we can leave it all behind us You don’t owe me a thing Here I go again When you gonna let me go I need time to heal, If you come knockin’ I won’t open up the door I know it’s time to draw the line I won’t play your games, I’m not going to let you Tear me up inside If you’re gonna rock my world Try a little kindness Don’t keep comin’ round here It can only remind us Just walk away And we can leave it all behind us You don’t owe me a thing Here I go again
