I Haven't Forgotten You

Timeless rock and roll with touches of R&B, soul and blues, and a voice you won't soon forget.
Blues wrote his first “official” song at the age of 5, and he hasn’t stopped since. Drawing from the rich history of rock, blues and R&B, Blues’ songs sound at once familiar, classic, and fresh. On his new release “Restoration”, Blues and producer Dan Strain have crafted a sound that compliments and supports Blues’ rich, soulful voice. The songs are written from a very personal place. However, many of the songs like “Let You Down”, “Learnin’ How to Live”, “You Have Touched Me” and “Kindness” touch on universal themes that resonate with the listener's own experiences.

Lyrics
I HAVEN’T FORGOTTEN YOU Gregg Lyne © 2005 BluesTunes No Stranger to the streets of this town Unseen by eyes that pass you by Afraid to make contact, They turn the other way It’s hopeless on the streets of this town Each day’s a struggle to survive The pain you feel on waking Let’s you know that you’re alive When you feel you’re all alone And you can’t go on, come to me I will give you everything that you need I live this life just to lay it down, all for love And I want you to know I haven’t forgotten you Forgotten on the streets of this town Haunted by dreams of family Hungry for the kindness Of a human touch No mercy on the streets of this town Justice, a faded memory You try to hold on to The last shred of dignity When you feel you’re all alone And you can’t go on, come to me I will give you everything that you need I live this life just to lay it down, all for love And I want you to know I haven’t forgotten you
