Jerry Matthews was a mainstay in the Houston/Gulf coast area music scene for more than 50 years. Whether it was a T.V or Radio performance, one of his many club & private appearances, or every Sunday morning as worship Pastor at his church. Sadly, Jerry was called home to be with the Lord on February 22,2007 at the age of 70. This world lost a truly gifted and Godly man, father, husband and musician on that day.
